Maize Corn on the Cob

This year we are growing Corn on the Cob, sweet-corn. These in the polythene tunnel are eight feet tall, those outside two feet at most, what a difference temperature makes. Those inside have two or three cobs per stem, outside just the one. There are many ways of cooking them. Preparation too is an important element to obtain maximum nutrition. An ancient food supply from the Americas now grown worldwide. More extensive information can be seen here.

hahahah - that's awesome - you should see it here in Ontario - corn is everywhere! The tastiest( in my opinion) is a variety called 'Chocolate Sunrise' - it smells like late summer & tastes like, well, a chocolate sunrise but corn!! happy eating....
