Black Earnside Newburgh June 2009

On my way home tonight I came across this happening at a spot from which I have photographed The River Tay many times. The plague says it all.

Here at Black Earnside Newburgh North Fife 701 years ago a battle took place and if one reads Scottish history it will give understanding to the antipathy that some hold against the English. It has now transformed into supporting Scotland's football and rugby teams to carry the flag and represent against all comers.More on Black Earnside Tartan Army.

The AGM of this wing of the worldwide Tartan Army was held today, above are some of the office bearers.

Morris, past and present chairman.

Bob Ross, honourable sword bearer.
